Although it seems Vancouver, Montreal, and Toronto dominate the media and discussions surrounding real estate, other areas of the province are beginning to get the attention they deserve. The term “newly discovered” is frequently used when Grey and Bruce counties are mentioned.
Over the last year we have seen significantly increased interest from buyers in southern Ontario cities such as Toronto, Guelph, Kitchener-Waterloo, and London. Visitors comment on what the area offers and the close proximity to these major centres. They place high value on such things as access to natural areas and reduced urban congestion. The region has a rich history, cultural diversity, and natural beauty. With a diverse range of options for those looking for a new home: waterfront, rural and small town urban, there is a “right place” for everyone.
Geographically, we are just a short commute from the major centres of souther Ontario, for most communities just over 2 hours. So for those moving out of the GTA it is easy to keep contact with their previous neighbourhoods.
